Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has surpassed Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to become the betting favorite to win the NFL Most Valuable Player award, according to ESPN’s David Purdum.
Rodgers was a +450 underdog to win the award before last week’s games and is now a -260 favorite at Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill following the Packers win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Rodgers’ MVP odds had improved to -370 as of Tuesday at FanDuel, and Rodgers is listed as the -335 favorite over at DraftKings.
Rodgers currently leads the league with 44 touchdowns, and torched the Titans for four touchdowns in the 40-14 victory. The Packers will now look to lock up the top seed in the NFC with a win over the Chicago Bears this upcoming Sunday.
