The Cincinnati Bengals are adding more size to their offensive line and are compensating for the loss of right tackle Jonah Williams, who signed with the Arizona Cardinals in free agency, by agreeing to a deal with New England Patriots tackle Trent Brown, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Brown, 30, inks a one year deal which could prove to be a big win if Brown can stay healthy, which is the big questions. Brown’s availability has been a hurdle throughout his career and limited him last season in New England.
Brown, who stands 6 foot 8, brings impressive size to the Bengals offensive line, and when he does play can bring a big boost as well. Brown was rated 11th among tackles last season by Pro Football Focus.
