The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without superstar guard Donovan Mitchell for at least one week due to a “medical procedure” that he underwent on Tuesday, according to an official team press release.
The procedure Mitchell underwent was to realign a nasal fracture he sustained on Saturday against the Houston Rockets.
Mitchell will be re-evaluated in one week after undergoing the procedure, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, meaning he will miss at least Cleveland’s upcoming four contests and with next Tuesday lining up to be when he will be re-evaluated.
