New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has jumped in to free agency and has visited San Francisco to meet with the Giants this week, a team long linked to Judge, according to MLB Network insider Jon Morosi.
Judge, 30, is coming off a historic year where he belted an American League record 62 homers for the Yankees, and is expected to draw interest from a number of teams during the offseason, including the Giants.
The Yankees have made it clear that they intend to retain Judge, and are willing to pay him the astronomical contract he is likely to fetch in order to do so.
