The Boston Celtics are one of the teams that Washington Wizards superstar Bradley Beal would be interested in landing with should he decide to formally request a trade, but the Celtics won’t be offering one of their big stars to get a deal done.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe, the Celtics would not be willing to offer Jaylen Brown in any trade package to acquire Beal.
“Is Boston going to offer Jaylen Brown? I don’t think so,” Lowe said during the Woj & Lowe Free Agency Special. “To me there’s not much point in giving up one star for another, if you’re Boston.”
Lowe goes on to point out the packages that the Golden State Warriors could offer, which could be the most enticing offers in any trade scenario of any team in the NBA this offseason.
