Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields, who was acquired this past offseason via a trade with the Chicago Bears, isn’t exactly getting the best feedback from a latest viral video of Fields throwing to social media figure RouteGod.
The video certainly made plenty of noise on social media, but for all the wrong reasons, as many of Fields’ passes are arriving late have looked so “off” that many big names are chiming in, including former Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell.
Bell’s response was to a post NFL reporter Don Kleiman made on X, sharing the video with the caption: “This video of #Steelers QB Justin Fields throwing to the Route God has fans worried as all his passes appear to be late.”
“That ball gettin there lateeeee…,” Bell wrote, “I know it’s routes on air, but this is telling you a lot.”
Bell wasn’t alone in the criticism, as many fans expressed the same concerns about Fields’ throws, and while it is a very short video it still is a bit concerning as Fields looks to turn the page on a rather lackluster run with the Bears in his new role as a backup in Pittsburgh.
