The Cincinnati Bengals and rookie quarterback Joe Burrow have agreed to terms on a four-year, $36.1 million rookie contract, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Bengals selected Burrow with the #1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft after his historically impressive 2019 season leading LSU to the National Championship.
Burrow will receive 100 percent of his $23.88 million signing bonus within the first 15 days of signing his deal, according to the report.
Cincinnati is coming off a 2-14 campaign and is in the midst of a rebuild. Now they have their franchise quarterback locked up for the first four years of that process.
