“Saturday is trending to be our biggest UFC event ever, surpassing UFC 246, when McGregor took out Donald Cerrone,” Patrick Eichner, communications director for sportsbook PointsBet said, according to the report.
“Since we turned betting on, it’s been all McGregor, all the time,” said John Murray, executive director of the SuperBook at Westgate Las Vegas. “[We’re] anticipating huge volume this weekend. Eventually we’ll find a price at which they’ll take Poirier, but haven’t got there yet.”
McGregor scored a knockout victory of Poirier in the first round back in 2014.
