The Brooklyn Nets are taking a cautious approach with how they are handling the left hamstring strain of superstar forward Kevin Durant, who has been out of action since February 14th when the Nets played the Golden State Warriors.
According to Nets head coach Steve Nash, Durant is set to undergo another scan this week, however fans should hold their breath if they are expecting to see the All-Star forward on the court shortly thereafter.
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Durant is likely to miss another one-to-two weeks as the Nets are being cautious with ramping up his activity as he prepares for a return to the court this season.
Durant averaged 29.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists through 19 games played this season for Brooklyn.
