Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is “trending in the right direction” to play against the New York Giants on Sunday, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said, according to ESPN’s Tim McManus.
Hurts has missed the last two games after he suffered a sprained right shoulder during the second half of their December 18th game against the Chicago Bears. Hurts was listed as a limited participant during practice on Thursday but did see an increase in workload from the week prior.
“We feel good about it,” Sirianni said, “but we’ve got to see how [Friday] goes.”
The Eagles can clinch the top overall seed in the NFC with a win over the Giants on Sunday.
