The Baltimore Ravens got some help to their pass rush by signing Justin Houston, according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. The deal is for one year and is worth four million.
With Houston, the Ravens add another veteran pass rusher to add with Pernell McPhee and the recently signed Chris Smith. Before the signings, the only edge rushers that had sacks for the team last year were McPhee, Jaylon Ferguson, and Tyus Bowser. Baltimore also drafted both Odafe Oweh and Daelin Hayes.
The Ravens lost both Yannick Ngakoue and Matt Judon to free agency. Houston, a four-time pro-bowler, has recorded 97.5 sacks in his career, including eight last year with the Colts.
