The Golden State Warriors are building some positivity as they have finally won back-to-back road games for the first time this season following their 128-120 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night.
Warriors stars Klay Thompson and Steph Curry both had big nights, which fueled the victory, and Thompson stated his belief that things are turning around for Golden State, who have struggled at times this season with consistency.
“We’re whole,” Thompson said. “I absolutely believe big nights are on the horizon. The assist-to-turnover ratio was special tonight. That could be an indicator.”
“This was a key game for us,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said. “To start off with a win gives us a good chance to get rest tomorrow, prepare for Minnesota, attack that game and see what happens. The back-to-back in Denver will be difficult with the travel. So we needed this one tonight. Now we gotta go get greedy.”
