University of Cincinnati has named Louisville coach Scott Satterfield as their next head coach, according to an official school announcement issued on Monday.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, while terms of Satterfield’s contract were not formally announced it is believed that the contract is for six years. Satterfield went 25-24 at Louisville after a 47-16 run in five years at Appalachian State.
Cincinnati enters the Big 12 next year.
