In the wake of an injury to defensive end Nick Bosa, the San Francisco 49ers are finalizing a one-year deal with veteran defensive end Ziggy Ansah, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
There is a strong belief that Bosa likely suffered an ACL injury during the 49ers’ 31-13 victory over the New York Jeets on Sunday.
Ansah, 31, spent last season with the Seattle Seahawks and has amassed 50.5 sacks in 91 regular-season games during his career, spent mostly with the Detroit Lions, who drafted him back in 2013.
