The Philadelphia Eagles are still engaged in trade talks with the Indianapolis Colts involving Eagles former starting quarterback Carson Wentz, according to The Athletic’s Zak Keefer.
While reports have recently surfaced indicating that the Chicago Bears are considered to be the frontrunner to land Wentz, the Colts are trying to do their work in landing him. It has also been reported that Wentz prefers to land in Indianapolis.
The Colts remaining in trade talks with Philly has not forced them to budge from their offer, with the report indicating the offer does not currently include any major compensation, such as first round draft pick.
