The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to sign veteran free agent defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan, according to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo.
Jernigan had an agreement in place to join the Houston Texans, but the deal fell through in early June and Jernigan has been looking to land on a new team ever since.
Jernigan, 27, visited the Jaguars earlier this week, and apparently favored a deal with Jacksonville over other options.
Jernigan played a part in the Philadelphia Eagles winning the Super Bowl a few years ago, but was released in 2019.
