The Dallas Cowboys fear that veteran defensive tackle Gerald McCoy has suffered a torn ACL, and are awaiting results of an MRI, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
McCoy, 32, signed a three-year, $18 million deal to join the Cowboys back in March and was projected to play a big part for the Cowboys this upcoming season.
McCoy landed with the Carolina Panters last season following his departure from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and collected 5 sacks during the 2019 season.
According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, McCoy will undergo season ending surgery.
