Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady wasn’t going to let any concerns over his injured thumb ruin the celebration of the Bucs 28-22 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night.
Brady went 34-for-42 with 297 passing yards and two touchdown passes in the win.
“Great, It felt great, awesome” Brady said after the game, according to NFL.com’s Grant Gordon.
“It was a good win. You know, it’s tough to win on the road. Obviously, we didn’t play our best, so we gotta get back to work,” Brady said. “We gotta good little break here, use it and get back to work, see if we can get better.”
The Bucs will now turn their attention to the Chicago Bears.
“It’s football season, so I’m just prepared to play football,” Brady said. “I feel great, I really do.”
