For all the years that Tom Brady spent playing in brutal winter games with the New England Patriots, one would think that he is accustomed to playing in cold weather, but now that he is with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, things have changed.
During an interview on ESPN’s Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli Manning on Monday, Brady admitted that he can no longer handle playing in the brutal elements that cold weather games can be about.
“Screw that, I never want to deal with that again” Brady said during the appearance.
Brady, 44, went into further detail following the interview.
“I always considered myself a cold-weather quarterback but I mean, screw that” Brady said, according to the Boston Globe’s Ben Volin. “I never want to deal with that again. I’m already checking the forecast in Washington in November. So it tells you how much I’ve softened up in my time here in Florida.”
