The Tennessee Titans have reportedly been looking to move on from superstar running back Derrick Henry as well as veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill, with Henry reportedly being shopped at the NFL Combine.
However, despite the rumors Henry and Tannehill remain in Tennessee, and the Titans are certainly keeping mum on their plans, with general manager Ran Carthon saying that nothing as changed regarding either of their statuses with the Titans.
“We want to build a culture of competition. We are always looking to upgrade at every spot,” Carton said, according to the Titans official website.
Henry, who is essential to the Titans offense, is coming off another solid season in which he ran for 1,538 yards.
Henry inked a four-year, $50 million contract extension with the Titans back in July 2020.
