The Minnesota Vikings suffered a brutal loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night that saw Eagles cornerback Darius Slay hauling in two interceptions during the second half that shut down the potent Vikings aerial attack.
Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson expressed his frustration with the poor performance, and is looking for the Vikings offense to get back on track in Week 3 as they take on the Detroit Lions.
“The most frustrating thing is just losing. I mean, of course we [wanted] to come into this game and just dominate, especially after last week’s performance. But we definitely had plenty of opportunities to score the ball and make something [happen],” Jefferson said, according to Chris Tomasson of St. Paul Pioneer Press.
“Everything – the plays that were left out there. The routes that I could’ve won on. Things that I could’ve done better. Everybody in this room definitely could’ve done something better to change the outcome of the game,” Jefferson continued.
Concerns continue to mount after a brutal performance from Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, with fans taking their frustrations to social media.
