The Baltimore Ravens and left tackle Ronnie Staley have not made much progress in their negotiations for a new, long-term contract, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Currently, Staley is playing under the fifth-year option of his rookie contract, and is reportedly seeking a deal that would top the $22 million annual salary that the Houston Texans gave left tackle Laremy Tunsil.
While Staley has dealt with a number of injuries throughout his career, he has never played in fewer than 12 games for the Ravens, but his durability will certainly be a talking point in negotiations.
