The Philadelphia 76ers are looking to alter their roster this offseason, and have officially opened up trade conversations regarding All-Star Ben Simmons, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
According to the report: “The 76ers have opened up trade conversations surrounding Simmons and have engaged with teams, sources told The Athletic. Those sources also say that teams that have engaged with the 76ers about Simmons have been met with a high price threshold for the three-time All-Star.”
The Sixers will be looking for a big haul to part with Simmons, and there is belief that they will be seeking an All-Star caliber player as part of any return package.
After Simmons’ brutal postseason it will be interesting to see just how much trade value he still has, considering that at one time that price would have been astronomically higher.
