The New York Mets have made infielder/outfielder J.D. Davis available in trade talks, according to ESPN’s Kiley McDaniel.
There is belief that the Mets will attempt to include Davis as part of a package to acquire Kris Bryant from the Chicago Cubs, or Trevor Story from the Colorado Rockies. Both players will be of interest to a number of teams as the trade deadline approaches.
Davis has posted a slash line of .325/.416/.545 to go along with 4 homeruns this season for the Mets.
