Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Bashaud Breeland is reportedly facing a four-game suspension from the NFL for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
According to NFL Network’s James Palmer, the Chiefs “knew this was coming” for some time and have been expecting that Breeland will be suspended by the league.
The Chiefs re-signed Breeland, who joined the team as a free agent during the 2019 offseason, to a one-year deal this offseason.
