Conor McGregor gave a short update regarding his recovery, indicating that he is currently working his way back to full health and saying that he plans to make his return to the octagon sometime in 2022.
McGregor lost to Dustin Poirier for the second time in a row when he broke his leg during their fight at UFC 264, and despite McGregor claiming he was dominating the round prior to the stoppage, two judges scored the round a 10-8 for Poirier.
McGregor took part in a Q&A on Twitter and was asked when he would be making his return to the octagon.
“2022” McGregor said, in response to a fan’s question about his return. “I’m improving rapidly! Working with the best team money can buy! I’ll be back in no time, lock loaded!”
