The Sacramento Kings are enduring yet another brutal season and guard De’Aaron Fox is feeling the frustration following yet another loss on Saturday night, this time to the Miami Heat in a closely contested game.
Following the game, Fox took the blame on his shoulders why discussing the frustration associated with another loss.
“Extremely frustrated,” Fox said, according to The Athletic’s Jason Jones. “Because of the way I play, I know I’m going to get fouled. I know I have to be able to get there and be comfortable making those free throws. I’m not saying I’m uncomfortable being there, I’ve just got to be able to make them. I think I’ve shot the ball better this year. That’s another thing, again, I feel I have to be a lot better at especially if we’re to be successful.”
Fox certainly can help the team by improving his free throw efficiency, which has been a career-worst 67.2% this season.
