The NFL’s annual Pro Bowl is going virtual as a number of players will be controlling the AFC and NFC players in the virtual Pro Bowl which will utilize Madden 21 and stream on Twitch this upcoming Sunday, according to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein.
Players such as the Houston Texans’ Deshaun Watson, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams, and Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry will be among the live-participants for the event.
Per the report, Watson, Henry, hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg and former wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson will represent the AFC, while Murray, Adams, NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace and former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch will represent the NFC.
The Pro Bowl will be hosted by Charissa Thompson and Michael Strahan, will kick off at 5pm EST, and will be streamed on the official twitch channel of EA Madden NFL, as well as the NFL’s Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook pages.
“We’ll be taking the Pro Bowl to the virtual world of Madden this weekend and I can’t wait to do it big with football fans in my favorite game,” Snoop Dogg said in an official press release. “I’m a Madden NFL star. So Kyler and Marshawn better watch out, my team is comin’ in to win that championship title for the AFC.”
The event will also feature some of the biggest twitch streamers on the Amazon platform, with Ninja, FaZe Swagg, AustinShow and AMP hosting watch parties on their own twitch channels during the live Madden Pro Bowl virtual game, and also introduces the league’s sports content creators who stream and game as well.
NFL Network will air the virtual Pro Bowl game at 8 p.m. Sunday and again on Monday at 12:30am EST
