It appears that Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford will indeed be taking the field in Week 15 as the Lions take on the Tennessee Titans, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Stafford was listed on the injury report this week with a rib injury after he was forced out of last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers due to a hit from defensive tackle Kenny Clark.
Stafford missed practices on both Wednesday and Thursday.
“This may or may not be a workout situation,” Lions interim head coach Darrell Bevell said of Stafford on Friday, according to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein. “Obviously, the conversation of what he’s doing kind of on the side before we even get that far. But if we need to have a workout Sunday morning, then we’ll end up doing that as well.”
