Fantasy football owners will have to look elsewhere as Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson has been officially ruled out for Week 16 action against the Chicago Bears.
Robinson has been a surprise fantasy star this season, and had been hoping to be able to suit up against Chicago, but the team will instead opt to hold him out, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Robinson has been dealing with both knee and ankle issues lately, and with the Jaguars looking at being in position to draft Trevor Lawrence with the number one overall pick, there is no incentive to pushing Robinson on the field too soon.
Robinson has rushed for 1,070 yards this season for the Jaguars.
