NXT had a strong night in viewership on Tuesday and that could very well be the catalyst to them jumping from Wednesday nights to Tuesday nights.
NXT saw impressive jumps this week as the Super Tuesday edition of NXT on the USA Network averaged 849,000 viewers, doing a 0.26 rating in the 18-49 demographic, finishing 10th total on cable for that night.
The numbers clock in as the second highest viewership in the key demographic this year. NXT ran unopposed to AEW this week, and has done so for the past 3 weeks.
According to sources, USA Network is interested in moving NXT to Tuesday nights and WWE is currently exploring the move and it is becoming more likely that a move will be made.
If it does go down, it benefits both NXT and AEW, who both seem to perform better when they are not competing for viewership.
