Detroit Lions cornerback Desmond Trufant is expected to play in the Lions’ Week 4 tilt against the New Orleans Saints, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Trufant takes the field for the first time since Week 1, and with his return, Detroit will send cornerback Amani Oruwariye to the bench.
Trufant collected 4 interceptions last year while playing for the Atlanta Falcons.
