The Chicago White Sox have acquired right-hander Lance Lynn from the Texas Rangers on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
Lynn, 33, was one of the most sought after pitchers on the trade market last season, and now the White Sox have added a front-line starter to their rotation. Lynn has one year and $8 million remaining on his contract.
Texas receives right-hander Dane Dunning and left-handed pitching prospect Avery Weems.
