Even though NFL free agency isn’t until Wednesday, the NFL’s first day of Negotiation period is moving at a rapid pace.
With that said, the Jacksonville Jaguars have signed the tallented backup quarterback Nick Foles. The deal that Foles signed is for 4-years $88 million. He can also earn up to $102 million.
Foles was drafted in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles where he did play and start for the Eagles for three seasons. In 2015, he was traded to the St. Louis Rams and then the following season in 2016 signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
In 2017, Foles returned where his NFL career started and helped the Eagles win their first Super Bowl in Franchise history when he filled in for Carson Wintz.
Now, heading into 2019, he is expected to replace Black Bortles as the starting quarterback in Jacksonville.
