The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to terms on a five-year deal with Ty Lue to become the next head coach of the team, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Per the report, sources say that the team and Lue’s representative in the contract talks, Andy Miller, completed negotiations on a deal Thursday afternoon,
Lue, 43, has had significant support among players, and will now take over for Doc Rivers.
Lue is expected to hire former Clippers player Chauncey Billups as part of his staff.
