Down in the Motor City, the Detroit Lions are making changes to the coaching staff. According to Ian Rappaport of NFL Network, Jim Caldwell as Head Coach. Originally, it was reported that Caldwell received a contract extension. Turns out, that was incorrect.
Jim Caldwell joined the Lions in 2014. Coldwell spent four seasons as Lions head coach. Caldwell left with a 26-22 regular season record but failed his team when it came to the postseason. In 2 of his four seasons, he took the Lions to the playoffs as Caldwell “Restored the Roar” in the Motor City. In the Playoffs, Caldwell’s playoff record was 2-2 and going no further than the NFC Divisional round.
