The Atlanta Braves have officially activated Ronal Acuna Jr. from their 10-day injured list which will see the Braves superstar make his return to the lineup since tearing his ACL in July 2021, according to an official team announcement on Thursday.
Acuna, 24, was being targeted for a return on May 6th, but the Braves made the surprising announcement that he would be making his return earlier than anticipated.
Acuna has showed minimal rust during his limited work with Triple-A Gwinnett, going 7 for 19 with a double, six walks, and three stolen bases (100%) during six games and 25 plate appearances.
