Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler is expected to play in Week 12 as the Chargers take on the Buffalo Bills, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Per the report, “won’t be the bell cow just yet, but he’s slated to play”, meaning that he may not hold much fantasy value this week as he works his way back to a normal workload.
Ekeler will likely, at best, split carries with Kalen Ballage is he is available. Balage will be a game-time decision due to an ankle/calf injury. The Chargers could also turn to Joshua Kelley, but may decided to be cautious given his line of injuries in recent weeks.
