The San Diego Padres made a big move on Sunday by acquiring one of the most sough-after names on the trade market.
The Padres officially acquired veteran second baseman Adam Frazier from the Pittsburgh Pirates. The deal will see the Padres send infielder/outfielder Tucupita Marcano, outfielder Jack Suwinski, and right hander Michell Milano to the Pirates.
Pittsburgh is sending back Frazier, along with $1.4 million as part of the trade.
Frazier is having a career year in 2021, with a slash line of .324/.388/.448 including 4 homeruns for the Pirates.
