Washington Nationals slugger Kyle Schwarber has not played since earlier this month due to injury, but that’s not stopping teams from being interesting in acquiring him ahead of this week’s trade deadline.
According to the New York Post’s Joel Sherman, there is a “growing belief” that Schwarber will be dealt and names the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays as teams that are interested.
Schwarber, 28, has turned around a rough start to the 2021 season, hitting 25 home runs and 53 RBIs for the Nationals this season.
