Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this year, has made his next move public.
Gronkowski, 30, officially announced Tuesday morning that he is partnering with CBDMEDIC in an effort to make CBD an acceptable tool for all athletes to use for their recovery.
“I’ve had nine record-breaking seasons and nine separate surgeries, but now, for the first time in more than a decade, I’m pain-free,” Gronkowski said (h/t 7 News Boston). “That’s a big deal!”
The boom of the medical marijuana industry has led to a number of marijuana dispensaries and big business marijuana-related deals to pop up in recent years, and has even led to marijuana stocks becoming a viable option on the market.
“I wish I had been able to use CBDMEDIC while I was playing,” Gronkowski stated. “It would have made a huge difference in my pain management during my career and I know it can help many others who are looking for safe, pill-free solutions to managing pain”.
