The Washington NFL franchise has hired former NBC Sports Washington’s Julie Donaldson to oversee all of it’s broadcasts, which makes Donaldson the highest-ranking female executive, according to ESPN’s John Keim.
Donaldson will be part of Washington’s radio team, following the retirement of play-by-play announcer Larry Michael who retired last week amid the Washington Post’s report regarding sexual harassment, although Donaldson will not be doing the play-by-play announcing.
Donaldson spent 10 years at NBC Sports Washington prior to taking this job with the NFL’s Washington team.
