New York Mets superstar infielder Francisco Lindor was forced to exit Wednesday night’s loss to the Chicago Cubs following the second inning of play due to flu-like symptoms, according to ESPN.

Lindor, 30, is one of two Mets players, along with Mets first baseman Pete Alonso, to start all 30 games thus far this season.

Lindor didn’t have a chance to play the field as he was replaced by Joey Wendle for the 3rd inning. Wendle missed Sunday’s game due to flu-like symptoms.

Lindor is batting .195 with 5 homeruns and 11 rbis this season for the Mets.
