Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Bets was activated from the 10-day injured list and was placed in the starting lineup, in right field, during the Dodgers’ Thursday night tilt against the San Diego Padres, but he has some rust to knock off at the plate.
While the Dodgers were able to beat the Padres 4-0, Betts, who was batting third in the lineup, went 0-for-3 with a walk in his first game since August 7th. Betts missed 16 games due to right hip inflammation.
Betts is hitting .274 with 17 homers and 44 RBIs for the Dodgers this season.
