Detroit Pistons veteran point guard Derrick Rose is likely to be switching teams at some point this season, and now we have an idea of two potential landing spots.
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers are among the teams that are pursuing Rose.
The Knicks interest makes sense given that head coach Tom Thibodeau coached Rose when the two were together with the Chicago Bulls, and coached him again with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Rose is averaging 14.8 points, 4.6 assists and 1.3 steals this season for Detroit, but has seen a notable dip in his playing time as the season moves on.
