Dallas Mavericks guard Spencer Dinwiddie appeared in his 50th game on Saturday night when the Mavericks took on the Utah Jazz, and with that appearance he reached an important contract-related milestone, his 50th appearance, according to ESPN’s Bobby Marks.
With that 50th appearance in a game, Dinwiddie, 29, earned a $1.5 million bonus this season and also locked in his 2023-2024 salary, which is now fully guaranteed.
Dinwiddie’s salary ($18.86 million base, $2.57 million in incentives) had previously only been partially guaranteed for $10 million, but now becomes fully guaranteed. He is averaging 17.6 points and 5.4 assists per game this season for Dallas.
