Washington Wizards superstar Bradley Beal is off to a eye-popping start to the 2020-2021 regular season and on Wednesday night he surpassed the legendary Michael Jordan for the most consecutive 25-point scoring games to start an NBA season since the NBA/ABA merger.
Beal scored 32 points for the Wizards as Washington squared off against the Miami Heat.
“It’s pretty cool. It’s a remarkable achievement,” Bradley Beal said, according to The Athletic’s Fred Katz. “It’s not something you always shoot for, but it’s amazing to just hear those stats that we come up with in our game. To pass him, it’s always a great feeling. It’s always something you always kinda put in your accolades, but at the same time, it felt even better getting a win.”
Beal currently leads the league in scoring, averaging 34.9 points per game this season for the Wizards.
