The Denver Broncos have made the decision to hire Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett to be their next head coach, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Hackett was scheduled to interview for the head coaching opening with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, but the Broncos finalized a deal with Hackett on Wednesday night to prevent that from happening.
Hackett becomes Denver’s fourth different coach since the start of the 2016 season, taking over for Vic Fangio who was fired following a 7-10 season, marking the fifth straight losing season for the Broncos.
