Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook has not only settled into his role coming off the bench for the Lakers, but has been pouring in some solid performances of late, fueling the Lakers offensive firepower.
Westbrook’s performances have received some great praise of late, including this endorsement from Lakers head coach Darvin Ham, who is already making a claim for Westbrook’s place in the Sixth Man of the Year award conversation.
“Trust me, Russ had a hell of a night, man,” Ham said, via ClutchPoints. “In the last 3 games, he’s been phenomenal. One of my goals is, selfishly, is to get him in the conversation for the Sixth Man of the Year at some point. And why not start now? … His fingerprints were definitely all over this game.”
