Can you feel that? It’s the warmth of the NBA trade deadline heating up and teams are already making moves. While the league is still reeling from the blockbuster trade that saw the Sacramento Kings (the NBA’s version of a clown car) send DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans, it didn’t stop other teams from making their moves.
The Lakers have agreed to trade sixth man Lou Williams to the Rockets for Corey Brewer and an unprotected first-round pick, per ESPN.
The Lakers were also reportedly involved in trade talks for DeMarcus Cousins prior to the Kings agreeing to deal him to New Orleans.
“If I was making shots, I would probably still be here, you never know,” Brewer said. “I love Houston. I don’t want to leave, but I have no choice. I hope my shot starts falling with the Lakers.”
Thanx for the love L.A, I’ve enjoyed my stay.
